Re: When to service/oil change?

Quite annoyed with the service minder. Yesterday it guestimated 10 days until 1 7 are due. Today my wife takes it to go have a physical and comes back. I was going to take it somewhere and when I turn it on I'm surprised with Service Due Now. Weather is rainy on and off so only got to lift her up and pull off the wheels. Still have some tools in transit from Amazon. I wasn't expecting to need to do this until the 18th. Current ODO reading 37733 mi.

After the brake fluid change I reset only # 7, and it estimates tire rotation, #1, will be due in 2 months, roughly 7k miles from last time.

BTW- The air filter change was easy to do. And now there are a couple youtube videos on it to provide guidance.
Cabin filter or engine air filter?
Engine air filter. I don't usually bother with the cabin air filter. For years, I had cars that didn't have those. I see very little value in them. As long as the air flows okay through the vents/AC, I'm happy. But I will change engine air filter at recommended intervals.
