Floor and trunk mats

Thu Apr 26, 2018 12:27 am

Since I feel the OEM mats don't provide enough coverage to protect the carpet, I've been waiting for either Husky or preferably Weather-tech Digifit floor liners.

I check their bloody sites almost every day!

There's also a Canadian company named TuxMat that sells floor mats that have excellent coverage but I'm not convinced they are as durable and puncture resistant as the injection molded Weather Techs based on their layered construction.

What is everyone using for their cars?

I'm happy with the OEM upgrade option. Excellent fit.

However, I've never used WeatherTech or the others, so perhaps I'm only happy because I don't know what I'm missing out on. :?

Wife hasn't been interested in any accessories, so just using the ones that came with the car.

Do you mind trying to post a pic of the Honda ones? They look as good as what the Husky Liners or Weather Techs would be. Are they for front and rear or just front?

Hi, We got the Honda mats and they are fine (google 'honda clarity all-weather mats' to see pictures)

They don't come up as high as the Weathertechs I had on my SUV but those were much larger mats. Not sure if Weathertech will even come out with mats for the Clarity, pretty low volume car. Of course Weathertech might even be the folks making them for Honda (they did for my BMW)

For reference I got them from: https://www.handa-accessories.com/clarity17.html Note they have 40% off shipping sales, without that their total price is a bit higher that others dealers. I did get them in two day which is pretty quick.

I got the Weathertechs and they were much better than the Honda all weather but they only came in front set. I then saw the Tux Mat on Amazon and ordered them, and they cover a lot more than the Weathertech as well as rear floor coverage as well. I have a 100 pound boxer and the more covered the better! I am thinking of the OEM rear seat cover, pricy and only comes in black ( I have the light interior) but at least it will fit perfectly. the OEM trunk mat does not cover the whole trunk, I think Tux Mat makes a trunk one and I plan to contact them, they don't sell it on Amazon and since they are a Canadian company I want to contact them first to see what the shipping will be to US.
