Setting up Torque with ODB adapter

Thu Jun 07, 2018 1:51 am

I am trying to get my old ODB bluetooth adapter to work but for some reason it does not work/maintain a connection to Torque. I checked the pins to my other car and it seems the pin out for the clarity odb connection has a different pin layout. I am wondering if there is another adapter I should get or if the is somthing I need to set in torque to get it to talk.

Secondly, I am also looking for the diffrent PIDs that correspond to the battery, voltage ,current ect... readings. I don't know if the the ones from the following link are correct or not but it is a start

Any help finding/figuring out how to get the PIDs is welcome. I will update when I figure things out.

I got a new OBD reader and Torque works just fine now. Most of the relevant metrics do come in ok. It does not have kw of the battery, amps, or ODO available but battery percent and kw usage is available.
