Center Console Mat

Sun Feb 11, 2018 3:41 am

I purchased my Honda Clarity December 9, 2017. After having it for a few days I found that the storage tray beneath the center shift console was quite slippery and allowed any item place there to slide all over the place. After doing some research I found that Honda actually makes an insert to fit into this area and greatly reduces this annoying problem. The Center Console Mat, which is black, can probably be ordered through any Honda dealer but I purchased mine from CheaperHondaParts.com - Part #08P10-TRV-110. The price which I thought was a bit much was $17.50 plus $10.51 shipping. The mat fits very well however the same result could possibly be had by forming a piece of rubber or kitchen cabinet liner into this same area.

Great idea on making your own mat. Going to give it a try.

I too noticed that my iPhone was sliding all over the tray. I will look into that mat you mentioned. Thanks!

Oddly, I've found that both my local Honda and Nissan dealers' part departments are able to beat the prices on the internet after adjusting for shipping. I paid $22 for mine, no shipping involved. Same thing happened for mud flaps for my Leaf. Downside is that it requires a visit to the dealer to pick it up.
