7 Weeks from 0

3 or 4 days ago cluster said 0 1 2 is due, (I guess 50 mi). I finished 0 this morning (sans transmission fluid level check) while still cool out and reset 0. 7 Weeks popped up on the display, 1 2 are what's left.

HondaLink vs Instrument Cluster.

A 0 1 2 was due as I noted last post, but HondaLink only specified A in the description. A 0 1 2 was listed on the blue bar at the top. After just doing the oil & filter change, resetting A left me with 20 days until 0 1 2 were due. Now at 11 days, blue bar says 0 1 2 but description only says 0. I ...

Facing Reasonably Steep Uphill Confirms.

I was on an uphill slope stopped at a stoplight. Sure enough as soon as I lifted off the brake the car started rolling backwards/(down) quite rapidly. (HOLD was not engaged). This was in EV mode, (EV lit on the instrument cluster).

@ 44,2xx mi.

We were driving yesterday and no surprise even though 10 or 11 days were left, all of a sudden a chime and it says maintenance due now. We got home late and I was tired. This morning I wake up to try to start A 0 1 2. I start with the oil and filter change. That's all I have time to do, I reset just...

Re: Tire Center Tread Wearing Fast, Running 36 - 37 PSI (Cold)

At 32.0 PSI the center tread is still wearing thinner than the outer tread blocks. But it is not getting worse comparing outside with center. 32.0 PSI may be the sweet spot. I wish I could get an Autel TBE200 to monitor more accurately but my wife may get angry at the extra spending...

Re: Suggested Improvements

Yes, the Honda Accessory spoiler includes an updated right side spring. Don't see the part number sadly:

Re: Spoiler Shocks?

Honda sells a rear lip spoiler. I remember when helping my friend buy a spoiler off eBay for his '04 Acura TL that the OEM Acura spoiler was so much more expensive because they came with upgraded/stiffer shocks. Maybe these would be available without buying the whole spoiler kit. (Not sure the small...

Re: Fatigue Related Shifter Concern.

This was a pretty big gas station that I don't go to often/at all, think three rows of gas pumps, and I just so happen to be at the 1st pump in the front. Yes under the makeshift roofing the surface is really flat, at least at this station, but typically you move forward past the pump because the fi...

Re: Maintenance Mode, for Warming Engine Prior to Oil Change.

Of the four vehicle manufacturers on the top of my head 2 say get the engine oil hot 2 do not mention the requirement. Honda apparently wants it done hot. I wish they could have oriented the drain hole vertically or at least diagonally (like our Toyota Prius v). Hot oil shooting out sideways isn't e...
