Phone call sound quality

I had multiple people complain that they can not hear me well when using the car Bluetooth. I never have the issue with our Nissan Leaf. I also upgraded phones a few months back, and I had complaints with both phones.

Just asking if anybody else has sound clarity issues in their Clarity.

Third brake light pulser

I had a brake light pulser that I removed from my leased Leaf. Because I extended that lease to 3.5 years I likely paid $300 to $400 for it. To remove the panel with the brake light start by removing the 4 bolts to on each side from inside the trunk. Pull hard on the panel and it will pop up from th...

Re: Safety System Failure

In my case it was easy to associate the dirty snow with the failure. Just washing the car made the auto braking system operational. In my visit months later to the dealer for the charging error (that also cleared) they said the radar sensor reported it needs cleaning. It is possible the dealer saw t...

Re: Safety System Failure

The only problem we had with the safety system was after I drove through some muddy snow. The error disappear after we washed the car and the dealer cleaned the radar sensor.

Re: HondaLink; two weeks and unable to get it to work

I am not sure if it is related to your problem, but for the last two three weeks I was not able to update the status of the car. It does let me know when the charging stops, so it must be connected to the internet and Honda server. So maybe the problem is with their app/server. Try connecting the ca...

Re: 120 volt charging cable

The EVSE (the charging cable) is the max load for an outlet, and will charge for many hours. Plugin in and out every day will wear out the outlet causing it to heat up, and if the EVSE is designed properly to stop chargind. If not design properly could start a fire at the outlet unless you have the ...

Re: Snow tire rim size options

Yes, I realize that the speed will be off. I do not like studded tires. I expect I will use them only if needed, maybe even 2-3 times a winter (Pacific Northwest). If it snows for 2-3 days we just stay home. If the snow sticks around for more than that, then I will use them. It only takes me an hour...

Re: Snow tire rim size options

I bought a set of snow tires. The wheels are 17"x6.5 from Les Schwab. The tires are 235/45R17. I tried the wheels both front and back, but did not drive the car around. The car will be 1/2" lower. For $100 I can live with that. I do not plan to drive in deep snow. Here are some pictures: https://dri...
