Re: How are people liking their Claritys

I realize that this is quite a pain but perhaps pulling the trunk lid fuse from the drivers side fuse box??? From looking at the owners manual it looks like each door lock has it's own fuse and I would bet a nickel that fuse 37 (LID ACT) would be for the trunk lid. I have a 'Bag-o-Canon' that's wor...

Re: Full Electric Availability

Can you share your experience with the charge timer? One thing I wanted on the FitEV was the ability to override the charge timer (the remote could do that, if I remember). Never tried with the app. You can override by holding the charge port button on the remote for a few seconds - the car will gi...

Re: Full Electric Availability

For us, the heat pump in the Clarity (and different battery chem?) has made a big difference, but also the GOM is better. We found the Fit EV to be a bit pessimistic on a full charge in the cold. 40 - 50 out of the 82 has been replaced by an easy 60 - 70 (out of 89) in similar conditions. Our HondaL...

Re: Range problems with Clarity electric

I also upgraded from Fit EV to Clarity EV. The Clarity is a "real" car. We thoroughly enjoyed the Fit EV, and the Fit packaging work(ed) surprisingly well for us, but looking forward to a more "full" car experience. Surprised/disappointed in the HondaLink activation. As one of the first Fit EV reta...

Re: Full Electric Availability

I got one in Northern Cal at the beginning of May (April delivery to dealer.) I was on their waiting list for 4 or 5 months. I had a relationship with this dealer as I got my Fit EV there many years ago. This dealer acted like they were doing me a favor "giving" me the car. Apparently, dealership e...

Re: Am I doing damage driving with no charge for too long?

Rereading what I said it doesn’t quite make sense. My apologies. A brand manager for smart at a local dealership said some EV (ED) owners ran the car until it stopped. This ended up damaging the battery. While generally considered to be not a good idea to drive until a BEV doesn't have any juice le...

Re: Am I doing damage driving with no charge for too long?

I have not read of any such concern on the PHEV, only possibly the pure EV version. (I haven't read through the entire manual yet I must confess)... Not sure what you mean since you can't drive the Electric version at all when it is out of charge. You can drive the PHEV version as long as you want ...

Re: HondaLink Broken?

I went to use it Saturday (a rare occurrence), and apparently there was an update to the app. I had to re-enter my username/password, and likely had to accept the "new" terms (but don't recall specifically). That being said, it worked fine for me after that. The user interface has changed a bit, but...

Not to get back on topic but we got our $2500 check from Oregon, purchased first week of Feb, 2018
Nice to hear. I have to wait until the end of March for my phase II app since we got ours in October.
